In 1932, the Supreme Council of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity chartered Alpha Alpha chapter as its first graduate chapter in the city of Newport News, VA. Alpha Alpha Chapter has been committed to uplifting the Hampton and Newport News communities through scholarship programs, activities for disadvantaged youth, talent competitions, essay contests, mentoring and tutorial programs, etc.
